More freedom for Adoption not Abortion

I find it very interesting and frustrating that America, mainly liberals are so interested in more freedom's for abortions. They want to make it easier and easier for Women to have abortions. No more restrictions they say.

Where are the activists who want to make it easier and easier to have an adoption? More parents would have an adoption if it was easier and less expensive. It would encourage more adoptions, but at the moment it discourages even those with their heart set on adoption. There are so many restrictions and rules on adoption that it makes it difficult to adopt. Yes there should be some restrictions to make sure the child goes into a loving home, but there are too many at this moment. It is like this country wants to send the message. More abortions to kill our babies, less adoptions to save our babies. Now does that logic make sense?

I care deeply about this subject. First because I am against the slaughtering of babies and Second because whether I have biological children or not, Harrison and I plan to adopt. Why? Because there are already too many children that people don't want. I want to take one of those unwanted children and put them in a loving Christian Home. Jesus said "Let the little Children come unto Me." We need to say the same thing. We need to care for God's babies and his little children.

Van Johnson - end of a Golden Era

It makes me very sad to have to say that Van Johnson died today of natural causes at 92 years old. He is one of the last actors to die from the Golden Era of Hollywood. Not many of the good old fashioned actors are alive today. Van Johnson stared it many movies. My favorites being, Brigadoon, The Cain Mutiny, and In the Good Old Summertime. NEW YORK — Van Johnson, whose boy-next-door wholesomeness made him a popular Hollywood star in the '40s and '50s with such films as "30 Seconds over Tokyo," "A Guy Named Joe" and "The Caine Mutiny," died Friday of natural causes. He was 92.

Johnson died at Tappan Zee Manor, an assisted living center in Nyack, N.Y., said Wendy Bleisweiss, a close friend.

With his tall, athletic build, handsome, freckled face and sunny personality, the red-haired Johnson starred opposite Esther Williams, June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor and others during his two decades under contract to MGM.......

Fight FOCA! and Shocking Quote

Now that Obama will be our new president. It is getting more and more scarier for unborn babies in this country. Obama said last year to planned parenthood that the first thing he will do as president is sign The Freedom of Choice Act.

The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is a scary bill that will do the following:

• Do away with the partial-birth abortion ban
• Do away with the requirement that women be given information about the risks of abortion
• Do away with the requirement that only licensed physicians may conduct an abortion
• Do away with the requirement that parents are notified/give consent when their minor daughter wants an abortion

Here is a quote by Obama that states how he feels about abortion.

"I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. BUT if they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby. I dont want them punished with an std at the age of 16."

First of all, there is such a think as responsibility. If they make a "mistake" then you dont punish the inocent one by murder! Why should the baby die because of a "mistake". Because of the "mistake" the young adult should take responsibility for their actions. I guess Obama isnt going to teach his girls the values and morals of taking responsibility for your actions. But then again, why should he. He doesnt follow those values and morals for himself either.

Second of all, if this is a quote about abortion. What does std's have to do with it. Killing the baby is not going to get rid of the std. Also comparing a precious baby to an std is appalling!
